Hey, I'm Emily!

Your Upstate NY elopement photographer in the Adirondack region. When you work with me you can expect it to be super chill. I’m not a forceful photographer that poses you in weird and contorted positions like you're part of a circus show. I want the true and authentic version of you. We’ll have some fun moments where I prompt you to move around a bit and be playful with each other and I'll also give you some space to embrace the moment while I capture from a distance. My style is intense, moody and bold in color. I create images that take you right back to that page in your story to evoke those feelings you had on your day.

I got into elopement photography when I eloped in the Adirondacks back in 2022! My husband and I just didn't feel a large wedding was right for us. We had just bought a house and wanted to do something for us because we are always giving ourselves to others. I planned the entire thing in 6 weeks! Realizing I could do this motivated me to show everyone how beautiful elopements in the Adirondacks could be. That you don't need to do something if you don't want to for the sake of everyone else. That tradition is old news.

“Mountains are the beginning and the end of all natural scenery.”

Why the Adirondacks Inspire Me:

There is this sense of freedom when you're on the summit of a mountain.

The feeling of being part of something much larger

The breathtaking views create a feeling of being both home and in at fairytale at the same time

The mountains create a sense of depth and feeling that you don't get anywhere else

Being surrounded by nature humbles you

The sounds calm your nervous system and the silence is peaceful

You always feel accomplished no matter how grueling the hike was
